Assistant
Director I
Sheau
Lan Yu is the Assistant Director
at Plano Day School. She is
responsible for many things
including curriculum needs,
monitoring lesson plans, answering
curriculum questions from the
parents, and providing assistance in
the office. Ms.
Yu began teaching at Plano
Day School in October of 1998. She
has taught in the Preschool program
and the Junior Kindergarten program
and moved into administration in May
of 2005. She holds a Master of Education
from Arizona State University and
has her Director Credential.

Assistant Director II
Amy
Aulenbach
has been
with Plano Day School since December
of 2007. Amy graduated from
University of Texas at Dallas in
2004 with a Bachelor Degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies. Since
graduating from UTD, Amy has earned
her Director's credential.

Early
Preschool 1
Mindy Lo has a Bachelor's
Degree in Elementary Education from
Taipei Municipal Teacher's college
and holds a Master of Computer
Science from U.T. Tyler. Mrs. Lo was
an elementary school teacher in
Taiwan for 5 years.

Preschool 1
Helen Lin is the Assistant
Teacher at Plano Day School. Mrs.
Lin holds a Bachelors Degree in
Accounting. She has many years of
experience in children's education
including serving in a children's
ministry in church for eight years
with pre-kindergarten kids on
Sunday.

Early
Preschool 2
Beth Kessler is our Early
Preschool 2 teacher as well as
teaches P.E. teacher for
Kindergarten. Beth has been with
Plano Day School since January 2008
and has worked with children since
1995.

Amy Zhang is the Assistant
Teacher for Early Preschool 2. Mrs.
Zhang joined Plano Day School in
2004. She graduated from Xian
College with a major in Accounting.

Preschool 3
Jane Wang is our lead teacher in
our Early Preschool 3 classroom. She
is a graduate of National Chengchi
University in Taiwan, where she
earned a Bachelor’s degree in
journalism. Jane also earned her
Montessori Teacher Certification at
Southwestern Montessori Training
Center.

Carol Yen is the assistant
teacher in Early Preschool 3. Carol
graduated from Chinese Culture
University in Taiwan with a
bachelor’s degree in Administrative
Management. She has been working in
child care since 2005.

Junior Preschool
Anne Hiatt graduated with a
Bachelor's Degree in Art from the
Seoul National Polytechnic
University in Seoul, Korea. She
continued her studies at Central
Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Ms.
Hiatt has experience teaching school
age children Art and General
Studies.

Doris Wu is the assistant
teacher in Junior Preschool. Mrs. Wu
joined Plano Day School in 2006. She
received a bachelor degree from the
Communication University in China.

Preschool 1
Alissa Reed teaches Preschool.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin
with a teaching degree and she is
certified in Early Childhood
Education. Before coming to Plano
Day School in 2002 she taught in
Frisco for two years.

Sharon Foley joined our staff in
2007. Mrs. Foley has a Bachelor of
Arts in Elementary Education from
Southern Methodist University. Her

Preschool 2
Sara Lin is the assistant
teacher in Preschool. Ms. Lin
graduated from Keelung Chungyu
Institute of Technology in Taiwan.
She joined Plano Day School in 2008.
Prior to this position, she was
teaching Chinese.

Junior Pre-Kindergarten
Kelli Abbott teaches our Junior
Pre-Kindergarten class. She
graduated from Texas Women's
University with a Bachelor of Arts
in Education. Her previous
experience includes
teaching Preschool through 2nd
grade. She has also worked with
special needs children.

Junior Pre-Kindergarten
Kathy Lai has been with Plano
Day School since August of 2001.
Ms Lai received her Bachelors Degree
from Chengchi University and she was
a certified social studies teacher
in Taiwan. Before coming to PDS, she
taught at a Chinese School for four
years and operated an after school
program for six years.

Kelly Lynch teaches
Pre-Kindergarten at Plano Day
School. She has been with Plano Day
School since the Summer of 2008.
Kelly graduated from the University
of Stephen F. Austin in May of 2010
and earned her degree in Elementary
Education. She is certified in
EC-4th and ESL.

Katy Baker teaches
Pre-Kindergarten at Plano Day
School. She received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Interdisciplinary
Studies in December 2008 from
Abilene Christian University. She is
Certified EC-4, as well as, ESL
Certified.

Rhonda Mims teaches
Pre-Kindergarten and began working
at Plano Day School in December of
2000. Ms. Mims holds a Bachelor of
Science in Child Development from
Southern University in Louisiana.
She also has previous experience
working in a childcare center in
Louisiana. Ms. Mims has a wonderful
calm caring nature and does a great
job in the classroom.

Pre-Kindergarten 4
Ruth Williams has been teaching
Pre-Kindergarten at Plano Day School
since September 1997. She began her
teaching career in 1986 and has
taught children of all ages. She
holds an Associate's Degree in Child
Development. Our families have
thoroughly enjoyed having Ms.
Williams teach their children
because of her excellent skills and
caring nature. In addition to being
the lead teacher of Pre-Kindergarten
4, Ms. Williams also covers the
office in the early hours.

Kindergarten
Melissa Mitchell moved to Texas
from St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs.
Mitchell graduated from Central
Methodist University with a
Bachelors of Science degree in Early
Childhood Education. Mrs. Mitchell
holds certifications to teach both
in Missouri and Texas.

Music
Zuleica Muller is the Music
Teacher at Plano Day School. She has
taught here since March of 2000. She
was a lead teacher in our Early
Preschool Program until August of
2003 when she transferred to the
Music position. Ms. Muller has a
Bachelors of Science degree in
Physical Education. She taught P.E.
in Brazil for 10 years before moving
to Plano. Her enthusiasm and love of
teaching has resulted in a
successful Music program that the
children look forward to.

Computer
Rachel Liang is the Computer
teacher at Plano Day School. Ms.
Liang joined Plano Day School in
August of 2004. She holds a Bachelor
of Science in Food and Nutrition
from Shih Chien College in Taipei,
Taiwan. Ms. Liang has computer
experience that includes computer
programming and MIS data management.

is equipped with advanced and safe
PC's. The creative and educational
software allows children not only to
develop early computer learning
experiences but also allows them to
have fun. The skills they learn in
the computer lab will also help
their coordination in fine motor,
